Video: Rudy Explains The College Football Playoff In A Funny ESPN Spot

Today is a big day for college football. Not only is it SEC Media Day, which is always eventful, but the College Football Playoff has unveiled its new trophy. Almost everyone in the college football world is excited for this new post-season tournament, even Rudy Ruettiger, as played by Sean Astin in the 1993 film Rudy. ESPN brought in Astin to do a very funny spoof on the film, in which Rudy explains how he dreams that college football can, and will, be a little better…in about 40 years.

We’re glad Rudy is as excited as the rest of us for the incredible stretch of games that is coming this winter.
