Photos: Cal Releases More Photos Of Jerseys, Showing Shadowed Bear Logo On Numbers 1-9

Back in April, the University of California decided to rebrand itself a bit — the school unveiled a new “secondary” logo, leaving the script “Cal” as the primary decal. The new, fierce-looking bear pleased most fans – good thing, it’s being displayed prominently on the team’s football jerseys for 2013.

Today, California released more pictures of the new jerseys (showing each number) on Twitter; they still maintain a classic look, but if you look closely, you can see the bear logo shadowed in the yellow numbers. Specifically, look at the number 78.

Only double-digit numbers will display the full bear — the single digits will only be able to fit half of the logo. Either way, we think it’s a pretty cool touch.
