Photo: Air Force Will Wear USAF, Squadron Patches On Uniforms This Year

Air Force is adding a few new features to its uniforms for the upcoming season. The jersey sleeves will feature USAF Academy patches, and the helmets will feature patches for each player’s specific squadron, a very neat touch for the service academy.

Army, Navy, and Air Force often have a lot to overcome on the field and in recruiting, but the Midshipmen and Falcons are generally pretty competitive, and Army has taken steps to reach that level as well. It helps that the three schools have some of the coolest sets of uniforms in the game.

Air Force opens the year with Nicholls State on August 30.
