Video: Penn State Releases Clip Of Intense Oklahoma Drill During Practice

Earlier this week, Big Ten Network’s Gerry DiNardo praised Penn State for having the most physical practices he’s seen on his spring tour of the conference’s football programs.

In a video put out today by GoPSUTV, fans got an inside look into a Nittany Lion practice. The team runs through an Oklahoma drill in the video that backs up DiNardo’s description of the team.

New Nittany Lion head coach James Franklin has said the team has an “unrivaled work ethic,” and based on the intensity of this drill, it looks like his players are supporting his claim.

After the team runs through the drill, you can see the players celebrating with each other, and even some coaches getting in on the action. While Penn State can’t make a bowl game, and is still trying to get out of the shadow of the Jerry Sandusky scandal, you can see that Franklin is bringing plenty excitement and energy to the football program.
