Penn State Assistant Coach Herb Hand To Appear On Food Network Show “Chopped”

The Penn State football program has been getting a decent amount of publicity this offseason with the hire of coach James Franklin, who has those associated with the State College, Pa. school thinking optimistically about the future. The Nittany Lions will get some more exposure come June, when assistant coach Herb Hand will appear on the Food Network show, Chopped

The show typically involves four chefs, who compete to see who can make the best dish with a variety of ingredients placed in a mystery box. The ingredients usually don’t go together in a classic sense. The chefs prepare an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. After each round, one chef gets “chopped” from the competition.
