As we inch closer and closer to the end of the regular season, the pressure continues to mount on teams that have yet to lose a game.

Today, a few more teams succumbed to that pressure. Here’s a quick rundown of which started the day undefeated, and how each has performed.

Kansas State is now 8-0, having defeated No. 14 Texas Tech, 55-14.

Ohio, while not a threat to bust the BCS, lost its first game to Miami (OH), 23-20.

Rutgers somehow lost to Kent State, 35-23 – ouch.

Louisville beat Cincinnati 34-31 on Friday night.

Ohio State moved to 9-0 after beating Penn State, 35-23. Unfortunately, the Buckeyes are banned from the postseason.

Florida no longer controls its own destiny in the SEC, after losing to arch rival Georgia, 17-9.

Oregon crushed Colorado, 70-14. It could have been much worse.

Alabama (8-0) crushed Mississippi State, handing the Bulldogs their first loss of the season.

Notre Dame pulled away from Oklahoma late in a stunner.

Oregon State lost to Washington 20-17, ending their national championship dreams.

So right now, six teams remain undefeated. It’s going to be a wild ride.
