Video: Ohio State Reserve Amedeo Della Valle Nails Game-Winner In FIBA U-20 League

OSU Buckeyes

Ohio State reserve guard Amedeo Della Valle was a fan favorite this past season as a freshman in Columbus. His performance at FIBA’s U-20 European Championship could make him a coach’s favorite this upcoming year.

Della Valle led Italy to a 76-73 win over Spain earlier today by scoring 27 points and grabbing seven rebounds. But it was his game-winning shot that has everyone talking.

Sure, we’d all love to know why he’s taking a 3-pointer with the score tied and time winding down, but hey, it went in.

The Buckeyes kick off their 2013-2014 campaign against Morgan State on November 9th.
