Ohio State Recruit Compares Himself, Other Buckeye Commit To One Of The NFL’s Best All-Time Duos

It’s been a good day for the Ohio State football program. This morning, the Buckeyes received commitments from two five-star defensive players in the 2015 class. Justin Hilliard, a linebacker out of Cincinnati, and Jashon Cornell, a defensive end out of Minnesota, both pledged to Urban Meyer.

One of those recruits seems to think the days will only get better once he’s on campus, too.

Ohio State fans must love to see that Cornell is comparing himself and Hilliard to one of the greatest defensive duos in NFL history, but it’s, of course, a bit premature. Neither player has finished high school, let alone play a collegiate snap.

Cornell and Hilliard are both very talented players, and could end up being major contributors to Ohio State’s team when they arrive next summer. But pump the breaks a bit on the lofty expectations. There’s already enough unwarranted hype in the recruiting world.
