Ohio State QB Stephen Collier Claims “90%” Of Team Convo Involves High School Bragging Rights
When Ohio State’s football players take the field suited up in scarlet and grey, they’re obviously all about the team they currently play for – the Buckeyes. But according to freshman quarterback Stephen Collier, off the field, “90%” of the conversation is still about their high school squads. Collier joked on Twitter last night that every player on the team seems to think that his high school team was the best out there.
90% of conversations between OSU football players consist of how bad Player A’s high school team would beat Player B’s high school team.

This doesn’t come as a huge surprise, given the competitive nature of football players in general. In fact, it’s to be expected when bringing together elite athletes from all over the country. If all goes well this season, maybe these guys will look back and argue with future coworkers about their college squad being the best of the era.
