Evander Holyfield’s Son, A Class Of 2016 Running Back Recruit, Already Has Double-Digit Offers

It seems like there are a number of famous athletes and celebrities who have children playing high level high school football. Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus is a four star 2015 recruit with over a dozen offers from BCS schools, and Ken Griffey Jr’s son Trey Griffey had a number of top offers before going to Arizona, where he now plays receiver. Now, Evander Holyfield’s son Elijah has broken on to the scene as a 2016 running back recruit.

Holyfield is unrated as of today by the recruiting services, but he already has over a dozen offers, including Tennessee, Wisconsin, Louisville, and Ohio State. He plays his high school ball at Woodward Academy in the Atlanta area, and is sure to continue to get plenty of attention as a result. With so many offers from top schools already, as a high school sophomore, Holyfield is primed to be one of the nation’s top running back recruits by his senior year.
