Northwestern Announces Blackhawks Day For Saturday’s Game vs. Syracuse

The greater Chicagoland community has been buzzing about the Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup win since early in the summer. That buzz will continue this Saturday at Ryan Field when Blackhawks President and Northwestern Alum John McDonough brings the Stanley Cup with him for the Wildcats’ game against Syracuse. However, McDonough will not be alone. He will be accompanied by Blackhawks Owner Rocky Wirtz, forward Brandon Saad, and playoff hero Bryan Bickell.

This will be the second time Lord Stanley has visited Ryan Field in the last four years. Here is a video of the last time the Cup made the trip to Northwestern in 2010:
