Nebraska Students To Release Blue/Gold Balloons Into The Air To Honor UCLA’s Nick Pasquale

Earlier this week, we learned that Nebraska’s football team would be honoring Nick Pasquale, a walk-on wide receiver from UCLA who was tragically killed this past weekend, by wearing his number, 36, on its helmets. Today, we learned that the Cornhuskers’ student section has also planned a tribute to Pasquale.

The students will be releasing blue and gold balloons into the air to honor Pasquale and the Bruins – a very classy move. Big Ten Network’s Brent Yarina snapped a pic.

It’s great to see students from one university supporting another during a tragic time. Nice work all around here.
