Video: Michigan State Fans Honor Football Team With “Yes!” Cheer

Michigan State brought out the football team at halftime of tonight’s basketball game against Ohio State to honor it for their Rose Bowl victory over Stanford. The Spartan players had recently added a “Yes!” chant (in the style of WWE’s Daniel Bryan) to their normal Rich Homie Quan-based post-game celebrations, so when they came out to the Breslin Center crowd, center Travis Jackson decided to lead the entire arena in the cheer.

It was awesome.

The Izzone has also started using the chant as a free throw distraction.

MSU basketball leads undefeated Ohio State 35-27 a few minutes into the second half, so the Sparty faithful may have even more to cheer later tonight.
