Michigan Star Freshman Jabrill Peppers Hurt Leg In First Half, Still In Locker Room As Second Half Begins

Update: Jabrill Peppers is OK. He was held out of the second half as a precaution.

Earlier: There will be no repeat of 2007 in Ann Arbor this afternoon.

Michigan is having no problems with Appalachian State today, seven years since the Wolverines were upset by the FCS school. The Wolverines currently lead the Mountaineers, 42-7.

One of Michigan’s star players may have injured himself in the process of the blowout, though. Jabrill Peppers, a five-star recruit in the 2014 class, is reportedly still in the locker room halfway through the third quarter.

Peppers tarted at the nickel cornerback spot and at punt return for Michigan.

Michigan faces Notre Dame next Saturday.
