Did Brady Hoke Call Akron A “Glazed Donut” Opponent?
Many of the power teams in college football may host at least one or two cupcake games per year, but has there ever been a “glazed donut” game before?
In his press conference on Monday, Brady Hoke may have said as much when asked about playing Akron on Saturday.
Hoke: “It’s a glazed donut game. Starts at noon. We like those games.”

It’s certainly open for interpretation whether Hoke is referring to actual donuts or whether it’s a shot at Akron. He would go on to say that he hopes to have enough donuts for the students attending the game, which is scheduled to be a noon kickoff.
Speaking of donuts, I’m hungry. Let’s also hope that anyone who eats the donuts doesn’t suffer the same fate as Homer Simpson.
