ESPN is reporting that assistant men’s basketball coach Doug Martin has resigned. Martin had been under investigation by the school for lying on his resume about his playing experience in college.

As we touched on yesterday, Martin had claimed to play collegiate ball for UW-Green Bay. Problem is, nobody at Green Bay had ever heard of Martin. Former players and coaches from the school couldn’t back up his story.
