UConn And Michigan State Will Play In Germany

Last year, Michigan State and North Carolina kicked off the college basketball season playing on an aircraft carrier in San Diego.

Apparently it was a hit.

In April, Syracuse and San Diego State announced they’d be playing in the “Battle of the Midway” aboard the USS Midway Museum. Just a few weeks ago, Florida and Georgetown agreed to play on a naval ship. Ohio State and Marquette have also set a date to do the same. Now, Michigan State and UConn have announced that they’ll be playing at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany on opening night for the 2012-2013 season.

All four of these games take place on November 9th. It’s a Friday. Request a vacation day immediately.
