Reports: Hackett Joining Marrone in Buffalo
When head coach Doug Marrone left Syracuse, fans were upset, but still optimistic. When reports came out tonight that offensive coordinator Nate Hackett is following Marrone, that optimism is slowly slipping away.

Reports earlier this week suggested that Hackett would stay after Marrone said he wanted a coordinator with NFL experience.

Well apparently that source was wrong. McMurphy changed his report moments ago.

I guess Hackett’s experience has an “Offensive Quality Control Coach” for the Buffalo Bills was all Marrone needed for NFL experience. Both Bills and Orange fans are reacting on Twitter:
