Report: Tim O’Toole Rejoining Syracuse Staff
ESPN’s Andy Katz tweeted this morning that Tim O’Toole will be joining the Syracuse Orange staff as director of basketball operations.
Syracuse expected to add former Fairfield coach Tim O’Toole to staff as director of bkb ops. O’Toole has been a St. John’s/ESPNU announcer.

O’Toole served as an assistant coach under Mike Krzyzewski at Duke and has also served as an assistant coach at Syracuse from 1992-95. His most recent coaching job was as the head coach at Fairfield. He hung it up in 2006 to pursue a career in broadcasting.
So what’s happening to the current director of basketball operations, Stan Kissel? Those details haven’t been released. Kissel has been around the program since 2005 and many know him as the guy who took over Bernie Fine’s clipboard on the bench after last year’s scandal.
Update: According to the Post-Standard’s basketball twitter account, Stan Kissel has resigned for family reasons.
