After Pitt’s Kicker Misses A Chip Shot, ND Outlasts The Panthers In OT
At the moment, South Bend is silent.
As the third quarter winds down, Notre Dame is now trailing Pittsburgh, 20-6, in what would be the biggest upset in college football so far this week. Many believed the Irish would cruise to victory the next few weeks before taking on USC in their regular season finale.
Will ND fall victim to the ‘ole trap week?
Update: Notre Dame has scored 14 unanswered points, capped off by an Everett Golson scramble on a 2-point conversion. ND and Pitt both could not score in their final opportunities of the second half – so we’re going to overtime.
Update 2: ND has outlasted Pittsburgh, 29-26 in triple-overtime. More to come.
