CFB Recap: Week 5

Many experts and fans thought this was going to be a “down week” for college football. But not so fast my friends; week 5 unleashed a barrage of scoring on the college football world.

Down in the Sunshine State, Florida State won a tough battle with B.J. Daniels and the South Florida Bulls.

West Virginia made its Big 12 debut against Baylor, and Geno Smith put himself in the Heisman lead.

The UConn Huskies moved to 3-2 after a grind-it-out win over the Buffalo Bulls.

The Fighting Irish were off week 5, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t scoreboard-watching.

CollegeSpun’s Nick Kettler recaps how the Ohio State Buckeyes moved to 5-0 after battling Michigan State in East Lansing. Dustin Stinson sums the game up in a single image.

The Missouri Tigers outlasted Central Florida on Saturday. Kristin Bowser kept up with all of the action.

@CollegeSpun teams on bye weeks: Notre Dame, Syracuse, USC
