Boise State Accepts Invitation To Big West For Non-Football Sports

Boise State doesn’t view itself as tied down to any particular region. Now, the rest of the country can’t view it that way either after the school accepted an invitation to the Big West for all sports except for football.
Yeah, you heard that right. Boise State is now in the Big East for football, but the Big West for every other sport. According to Brett McMurphy of ESPN, that makes perfect sense for the Broncos.

The Big West also added Hawaii and San Diego State for 2013, so the conference is definitely on its way up.
