WVU Gives Dana Holgorsen New Six-Year Deal
West Virginia University really believes in Dana Holgorsen.
Holgorsen led the Mountaineers to a 10-3 season and an Orange Bowl victory over Clemson in his first go-around as head coach, and he looks to build upon that this year in West Virginia’s first season in the Big 12.
Apparently he is exactly the man that West Virginia wants to lead the charge, because he recently signed a new six-year deal that will pay him over $2.3 million a season, according to ESPN. West Virginia is making an effort to pay its coaches at rates that are competitive with the best coaches in the country.
