Photo: Texas Tech’s New Video Board In Jones AT&T Stadium Is Looking Great

Update: Apparently there has been some serious progress made the past few days. Here’s an even more recent look at the almost-finished video board:

Earlier: It was announced back in December that Texas Tech’s Jones AT&T Stadium would be getting a makeover — the university would be paying for a $5 million facility upgrade that would include the creation of a colonnade, the addition over approximately 400 seats, and a new video board. The renovations will be finished before the start of the 2013 season.

Today, the Texas Tech football equipment manager tweeted out a picture to show us the new look video board — it’s almost complete:

It’s pretty standard stuff, but it should be a nice addition to the stadium. Having a nice new hi-definition video board for replays never hurt anyone.
