Oklahoma State Safety Is Dating A Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Because She Followed Him On Twitter
Twitter is a wonderful, wonderful thing — just ask Oklahoma State’s Zack Craig.
Craig is a safety at OSU, and was a team captain in 2012 for the Cowboys. Not only did that mean he had the respect of his teammates, but he had a little extra perk too — he got to participate in the pregame coin toss.
Now, normally people wouldn’t think of that as a tremendous perk, but for Craig it turned out to be one — because when he was shown on ESPN during the coin flip of the Oklahoma State-Oklahoma game, quite a few people were watching, including his future girlfriend whom he had not yet met.
Jordan Daigle is a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys, and naturally, a huge football fan. She saw Craig on TV and he took her breath away. She recalled the experience for Tulsa World:
“It was a really good game and it was going into overtime. And I remember this cute blond kid walked out to do the coin toss. I looked at my friend, and I was like, ‘That guy is really cute.’
Her friend looked Craig up on the Internet, found his Twitter and encouraged Daigle to “follow” him on the social-media site. Her response: “That’s so weird. I don’t even know him.”
Eventually, Daigle gave in, and when Craig next checked Twitter he noticed a new follower who claimed to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.”
Zack did some Google research, found out she was real, and eventually mustered up the courage to ask her out on a pizza date. The two officially began dating over spring break, and things have been going well ever since, according to Craig:
“Sometimes I’m still like, ‘Is this really happening?’ She’s really determined and one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met. … She’s more than I expected. She’s a lot more than a pretty face.”
What a lucky guy.
