Video: Oklahoma Players Wearing “College Football Playoff” Shirts At Spring Practice

With the BCS era officially coming to a close this past season, college football fans, coaches and players now look forward to the four-team “College Football Playoff” that will debut after the 2014 campaign. One program, Oklahoma, is making it very clear that it wants to be participating in the inaugural tournament next January.

Per the below OU video, which shows a tug-o-war battle between Sooners Dionte Savage and Jordan Wade, the team is wearing shirts with the new postseason format pasted right on the back. Check it out:

While it’s no surprise that Oklahoma expects to compete for a national title next season, it is interesting to see such a declaration of intent in March. The Sooners will most likely have to post an undefeated campaign in the Big 12 – certainly not impossible – for it to become a reality.
