Video: Blake Bell Catches Passes At Tight End During Oklahoma Practice

Blake Bell didn’t quite work out as a quarterback in Norman, by the end of the season Trevor Knight had won the job from Bell and led Oklahoma to a win over Alabama, but the Belldozer era is not quite over. Yesterday we caught a glimpse Bell working out at tight end for the Sooners.

At 6-foot-6, 250+ lbs, Bell’s frame seems perfect for tight end, as does his experience making plays with the ball in his hand. While switching positions always comes with an adjustment period, this looks like it could add a very interesting weapon to Oklahoma’s arsenal.
