Photos: Kansas State’s Renovations Of Bill Snyder Stadium Are Well Under Way

Bill Snyder Family Stadium is not the biggest stadium in college football. In a town like Manhattan, it would make no sense to build a new stadium that held 75,000 to 100,000 people — it would be hard for the school to fill the stands for each and every game. But knowing that the venue needs updating, athletic director John Currie decided to instead give the 50,000 seat stadium a new look.

There is a full Bill Snyder Stadium Master Plan in place, with a number of renovation details listed for the public to check out, and things have been progressing well. With the West Side Stadium Expansion project already underway and expected to be finished by the beginning of the season, KSU athletics decided to give fans a little sneak preview of how some of the additions will look:

The new stadium renovations will likely have a positive impact on recruiting and the game day experience. As always, it is important to note that these projects would not have been possible without the man who the stadium is named after — huge thanks to Bill Snyder.
