Kansas Jayhawks Basketball Already Drops To 0-2
College basketball doesn’t really get going for another two and a half months. But after losing in last year’s national championship game, the Kansas Jayhawks were eager to get on the floor and get back to work, even if it is just exhibition play.
However, preseason basketball hasn’t started the way they had hoped, as they recently lost their first two games. According to SportingNews, Kansas had been on a trip through Europe and just finished up a two-game series with AMW France, a professional team. The first loss marked the end of a 41-game exhibition win streak for Kansas.
While no fan is ever excited about losses, these games mean very little and shouldn’t upset the Jayhawk faithful. It may turn out to be a good learning experience for a young team.
