Art Briles Wants Baylor To Be “The Most Dominant Team In The Southern Part” Of The US

Baylor head coach Art Briles wants us all to know that he is not playing around when it comes to building up the Bears football program. Friday, which served as the first day of spring practice for Baylor, Briles made a very interesting declaration. He wants BU to become “the most dominant team in the southern part” of the United States.

You know, the same part of the country that’s produced the last nine BCS champions.

Briles also seemingly took a shot at Alabama coach Nick Saban about the proposed “10-second” rule.

It’s understandable that Briles is fired up on the first day of spring ball, but if this display is any indication, it’s going to be a fun season in the Big 12 next year.
