Austin Pollack - Syracuse

Austin Pollack is a sophomore communications student at Syracuse University. Austin spent two summers interning in the sports department at the Portland Press Herald in Portland, Maine in 2010 and 2011. In 2012, Austin wrote 85 blog posts for NESN.com, a Boston, Mass. blog connected to the flagship station of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins. One of his biggest projects was an interview with the parents of U.S. gold medal Olympian Aly Raisman before their trip to London for the Olympics. Austin is the women's volleyball beat writer for Syracuse's daily student newspaper, The Daily Orange. While not in Syracuse, Austin lives just outside the Boston area.
