Five-Star Recruit Taquan “Smoke” Mizzell Commits To UVA

Streaking the Lawn is reporting today that UVA has scored it’s highest-ranked recruit of the 2013 class. “Smoke” Mizzell has committed to play for the Wahoos; West Virginia and North Carolina were the other two finalists for his services.
Mizzell is a 5-star (Rivals) running back out of Virginia Beach that has been courted by numerous schools across the nation. He’s ranked 20th overall as well.
This is a huge get for UVA, as it tries to get back towards the upper echelon of the ACC.
