Saturday night, Dayton defeated 3-seed Syracuse to reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1984. The Flyers, who survived after a potential game-winner from Orange freshman Tyler Ennis hit the back iron, won the game behind solid 3-point shooting, team rebounding and key defensive stops down the stretch. As you can imagine, the hang time on Ennis’ shot probably felt like an eternity for Flyers fans.
Instead, it looks like tomorrow will be feeling like an eternity for Flyers fans – at least the ones on campus. Dayton’s campus is absolutely buzzing right now after the big upset win. There are even shots of the school’s president, Dan Curran, crowd-surfing.

I can’t even imagine what will happen if these guys reach the Final Four next week.
