ESPN Cancels Broadcast Of Tonight’s UNC-Georgia Tech Game Due To Safety Concerns

Tonight’s UNC-Georgia Tech game in Atlanta had been scheduled for an ESPN broadcast, but due to safety concerns related to the local weather, it looks like ESPN will not make it to McCamish Pavilion, according to a tweet from broadcaster Bob Wischusen:

Atlanta was hit with a snow storm yesterday, which led to hundreds of accidents on the roads, and hours of heavy traffic. It appears that the 7 PM game will be played as scheduled, but it is very strange to see a broadcast get cancelled so close to tip-off.
