Video: Bobby Petrino Met The Louisville Team For The First Time, Brought Out Black Uniforms
The University of Louisville was looking to make a splash with the hiring of its new head football coach following the departure of Charlie Strong to Texas, and it did exactly that by bringing back ex-coach Bobby Petrino. Today, Petrino had a chance to meet with his new team for the first time, and he decided to make a splash of his own: he brought out new black uniforms for the players to get them excited.
While the uniforms have not been worn by Louisville yet, the school did tease them back in November — it’s unclear exactly when they’ll be worn, but it looks like Petrino is all for bringing them out soon, especially considering the favorable reactions by the players.
