Video: It’s ‘Jameis Winston Day’ In Hueytown, Ala., Florida State QB Honored On Hometown Field

Today is “Jameis Winston Day” in Hueytown, Ala., the hometown of Florida State’s Heisman winning quarterback who led the Seminoles to a national championship this past season.

Winston will receive a key to the city of Hueytown and multiple signs honoring the redshirt sophomore quarterback will be affixed around town.

Here’s Winston walking out before the crowd at Gilmore-Vines Stadium, where Winston played in high school.

Winston will attempt to repeat the success he achieved in 2013 this fall. What will Hueytown do if the quarterback wins another Heisman and another national championship? Name the city after him?
