Photo: Florida State Fans Wearing “Witneis” Shirts For Game Against Miami

If you haven’t heard, this Jameis Winston kid at Florida State is a pretty good football player. As such, it looks like he’s starting to get some “royal” treatment from his fan base.

While he may not yet have achieved the same level of popularity as Miami Heat superstar LeBron James, some Seminoles fans have created a pretty clever shirt to draw comparisons to the two.

Remember that Winston’s first name is pronounced “Jay-miss”, not “Jay-mice”.

The shirt’s design is clearly a very clever ripoff of Nike’s famous “Witness” campaign for King James. Unfortunately, there is no way that the NCAA or the CLC signed off here, considering it references a specific player. That doesn’t mean you won’t see plenty of these in the stands this Saturday, however.
