Photo: Clemson Adds Sign In Memorial Stadium Claiming Share Of 2012 Atlantic Division Crown

Last year, the Clemson Tigers and Florida State Seminoles both finished with a 7-1 record in ACC play. FSU won the matchup between the two 49-37, and thus got to face off against Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship Game.

However, Clemson is claiming its share of the 2012 Atlantic Division title, even though it lost the head-to-head back with Florida State (technically, it was a tie). Check out the new addition to Memorial Stadium:

It’s just a bit awkward that Clemson had to put the asterisk next to the year for the shared title. Either way, 2012 was a successful season for the Tigers, and Clemson is looking to win the Atlantic Division outright this fall.
