Kobe Bryant Is Going To Tonight’s Duke Game With Some Lakers Teammates To Watch The Blue Devils Take On Miami

Kobe Bryant simply loves the game of basketball. So tonight, while the Lakers are off ahead of tomorrow’s matchup with the Miami Heat, he’ll be taking in a little bit of college action, heading to the BankUnited Center to watch the Duke Blue Devils take on the Miami Hurricanes. He’ll be joined by Lakers teammates Ryan Kelly (a Duke alumnus) and Kendall Marshall (a former North Carolina Tar Heel), among others, so it should be quite a fun experience:

It was always believed that Kobe would attend Duke if he opted to go to college because of his fantastic relationship with Mike Krzyzewksi. However, Kobe himself says that he would have actually joined Vince Carter at North Carolina so he could play against him every day to get better. The hunch here is that he’ll be supporting the Blue Devils and Coach K tonight, but I guess we’ll know for sure in a few hours. What we should all hope for though is LeBron and Dwyane Wade showing up to support the Hurricanes on the other side just to get the competitive juices flowing for tomorrow’s NBA showdown.
