ACC Agrees To 12-Year Deal With Orange Bowl
Good news for fans of the ACC today, as the Fayetteville Observer is reporting that the conference has signed a new 12-year deal with the Discover Orange Bowl.
Beginning in 2014, the Discover Orange Bowl will feature the ACC Champion on New Year’s Day, unless that team qualifies as one of the four chosen for the new college football playoff. In that scenario, a replacement team from the ACC would still be selected to compete in the Orange Bowl.
Further details on the opponent for the ACC, and which network will broadcast the game, are forthcoming.
