James Franklin Says Penn State Will Party All The Way Back To The United States After Beating Central Florida

The first college football Saturday of the year got off to an early start, as Penn State and Central Florida squared off in Dublin, Ireland at 8:30 a.m. ET today. The Nittany Lions upended the Knights, 26-24, in what was a hard fought and dramatic game. Penn State won on a field goal by kicker Sam Ficken, who drilled a 36 yard field goal as time expired.

After the game, Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin explained how the team plans on celebrating during its 10 hour flight back to the USA: by partying.

Penn State will take on Akron next week at Beaver Stadium in State College, Pa. As for UCF, the team has a bye week to recover before traveling to Missouri to take on the Tigers on Sept. 13.
