Photo: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Doesn’t Look Thrilled About Losing A UConn-Kentucky Bet To Kemba Walker

UConn and Kentucky are two of the most storied college basketball programs in the country, so naturally there are some NBA teammates who were at odds over tonight’s national championship match-ups. One of the most familiar pairings comes from the Charlotte Bobcats, where former Husky Kemba Walker, who won a National Championship in 2011, plays with forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, a star on Kentucky’s 2012 championship squad.

Naturally, the two had a bet, and MKG didn’t looked thrilled when he had to pay it off on Instagram. Here are the two, with Kidd-Gilchrist in a Kemba Walker UConn shirt.

Walker has to be proud of his team, especially Shabazz Napier, who was his understudy in 2011, and did his best Kemba Walker impression in UConn’s amazing run through this tournament.
